Montana Comprehensive Assessment System (MontCAS) - The MontCAS student assessment program is administered to students between third and eighth grade, and again in tenth grade. Students have their reading and math skills assessed each year, and their science skills are assessed in fourth, eighth and tenth grade.

Montana Construction Blasters Tests and Licensing - Montana requires all construction blasters to pass a licensing exam once they have completed the state-approved training process. The exam contains questions regarding standards and regulations for the use of various explosives. Applicants must score at least 80 percent to pass.
Montana Boiler Engineer Exams and Licensing - Boiler engineers have to pass a state-approved licensing test. The exam is administered monthly in Helena. Applicants must pay a fee that varies depending on license class and be pre-approved by the board before they sit the exam.
Montana Electricians Exams and Licensure - Montana requires all electricians and electrical contractors to pass a state-approved exam administered by PSI Testing Services before being licensed. The exam is based on the National Electrical Code, is open book and the questions are in the multiple-choice format. No score under 75 percent is considered a passing score.
Montana Appraisers Exams and Licensing - Once an appraiser trainee has finished the required college coursework and obtained 2000 hours of experience, he or she must take Montana's licensing exam. The cost of the exam is $99 and the 150 questions are based on the standards set by the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB). Each question is multiple choice.
Montana Real Estate Agents Tests and Licensing - All Montana real estate agents must take the Montana licensing test after they finish the 60-hour pre-licensing course. The multiple-choice salesperson exam costs $150. The test includes questions about laws and regulations in addition to the questions about buying and selling real estate.
Driver's Tests
Montana Driving Tests - The state of Montana requires all new drivers to pass written, vision and driving tests before it will issue them a driver's license. Montana also has a graduated driver licensing program for teenagers. The driving and written tests are usually waived for new Montana residents. Practice test apps are available on the App Store and Google Play.
Montana Motorcycle Tests - Montana requires motorcycle riders to pass two tests in order to get their endorsement. The written portion must be completed before an applicant can take the driving test. Most DMV stations now allow the latter to be scheduled online. Driving tests are only given in good weather.
Montana Commerical Driving Tests - Commercial Driver's License (CDL) applicants in the state of Montana must first pass a physical exam and a written test to get a CDL Learner's Permit. They can then schedule the three-part commercial road test. Most DMV stations allow the road test to be scheduled online.
