Academic Tests Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) - Oregon students are required to take the OAKS assessments every year from third through eighth grade and again in eleventh grade. All students have to take tests in reading, literature, social studies, science and mathematics. Oregon is slowly shifting from paper-based testing to online testing. Oregon Electrician Tests and Licensing - Journeyman Electricians have to take an exam administered by the Building Code Division before they can be licensed in Oregon. The open-book test has 52 questions, all of which are multiple choice, and applicants have three hours to finish. All applicants must bring their own materials, including reference books. Oregon Real Estate Brokers Tests and Licensing - Real estate brokers must pass an Oregon Real Estate Agent Licensing Examination before getting a license to work. All applicants must pay $75 to take the test. The questions on the exam are multiple choice and the exam is taken on a computer. The licensing exam is closed-book. Oregon Driving Tests - Oregon requires drivers license applicants to first pass a vision test and the Class C knowledge test. After that, they can make an appointment to take a drive test. Minors must go through Oregon's Provisional Driver Improvement Program. Applicants with a valid U.S. license do not have to take the drive test. Oregon Commerical Driving Tests - Oregon requires drivers who want to qualify for a CDL to first pass the CDL General Knowledge Test and the CDL Class Test. Once they have passed both tests applicants may schedule the CDL Skills Test. All applicants must also meet Oregon's medical requirements. |
