Academic Tests Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT) - All Kentucky students must take the KCCT in each grade. Students are tested every year in reading, science, social studies and mathematics. A writing section is also included in the test for fourth, seventh and twelfth graders. Questions are both multiple choice and open response. The first test is a written exam and the second is an applied exam which tests their practical skills. Applicants must have 1800 hours of training before they are eligible to take the tests. Kentucky Auctioneers Exam and Licensing - Kentucky requires all auctioneers to pass an examination. It is held four times a year on the University of Louisville campus. Applicants have three hours to complete the test, which includes questions on auction law, ethics, practices, terminology, sales tax and mathematics. Kentucky Nurse Licensing and Exams - Kentucky requires all nurses seeking an initial license to sit for the Kentucky Board of Nursing's Jurisprudence Examination. It is a computerized, open-book exam that consists of 35 questions, all of which are based on Kentucky's nursing laws and advisory opinion statements. The questions are all multiple choice. Kentucky Driving Tests - All applicants must take three tests to receive a Kentucky driver's license. They must pass a written exam, a vision screening and a road skills test. New residents are not exempted from these requirements.
