Academic Tests Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) - All students are required to take the ISAT in grades 3-8 and in grade 10. Students are tested in language arts and mathematics each year. In addition, they are also tested in science in grades 5, 7 and 10. All test questions are multiple choice. Idaho Plumbing Exams and Licensure - Find information on testing and licensing requirements to become a plumber in Idaho. Idaho Barbers Testing and Licensing - Idaho requires all barbers to pass a licensing examination. The three-part exam contains a written section, a practical section and a section on state laws. The first and last sections are multiple choice, while the practical requires a candidate to demonstrate his or her skills. Idaho Real Estate Agents Testing and Licensing - Real estate agents must pass a licensing exam after they have completed a pre-licensing course. The computer-based test is administered by a testing service. It is a multiple choice test with 140 questions. The fee to take the exam is $85. Idaho Driving Tests - Applicants for a driver's license must pass a written test, a vision screening and a road test to obtain a license. Those under the age of 17 must provide proof that they have completed a driver's education course. New residents must take only the vision and written tests. Idaho Commerical Driving Tests - Applicants for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must pass a written test and a road skills test. A separate knowledge test is required for each vehicle class and endorsement. The skills test takes approximates three hours and includes a pre-trip inspection, a basic control test and an on-road driving test. |
