Academic Tests

Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) - This test was developed by Arizona teachers to measure student proficiency in writing, reading, mathematics and science. Students are tested in grades 3 through 8 and in high school. Most students must pass the test to graduate from high school but there are some exceptions for special cases.  

AIMS HS - AIMS HS is a standards based assessment for grades 10, 11 and 12, developed by Arizona teachers to measure student proficiency in reading, writing, math and science.

Professional Tests

Arizona Massage Therapist Exams and Licensing - Find information on what is required to become a licensed massage therapist in Arizona.

Arizona Plumbing Exams and Licensure - Find information on licenisng and testing requirements for plumbers in Arizona.

Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessments - This series of tests is required for Arizona educators. The exams test professional and subject area knowledge, and knowledge of the constitutions of the United States and Arizona. Tests for school administrators and substitute teachers are also required.

Arizona Contractors - Business Management Examination - This exam is required for all candidates who want to obtain a state contractors license. The exam contains questions on state and federal laws relating to managing construction projects. Some trades may require candidates to pass an additional examination to obtain a license.

Driver's Tests

Arizona Knowledge Test - The written portion of the Arizona Driver's Test evaluates drivers' knowledge of the Arizona Driver License Manual and understanding of the meanings of highway road signs. This test must first be passed before candidates can attempt the Driving Test

Arizona Driving Test  - The road test consists of a route that tests a driver's ability to safely operate a vehicle in a variety of driving situations. Passing this test makes a candidate eligible for a driver's license.
